The timing of your withdrawal depends on when the request is made:
Punch currently does not offer instant withdrawals.
Withdrawn funds can only be transferred to your primary bank account.
You can check the status of your withdrawal on the funds page of the Punch app.
Withdrawal requests on Punch may be rejected due to insufficient funds. Ensure your requested amount is less than your available balance.
The most common reason for a rejected withdrawal request is insufficient funds. Funds are released to the extent of available clear credit in your account. For any other issues, please contact us.
Withdrawal Payouts and End-of-Day Process:
The amount you receive in a withdrawal might be different from what you initially requested. This is because your withdrawable balance can decrease after the end-of-day process. This process, usually around 6:30 pm, deducts charges, obligations, and any trading losses for the day from your account. It ensures your withdrawal reflects the most accurate financial position after considering the day's activities.
When you deposit funds, they become available for trading immediately. However, withdrawals operate on a different timeline. You can only initiate a withdrawal the next day due to end-of-day settlement processes.
Client deposits with Punch are transferred to exchanges. When processing withdrawals, we first withdraw funds from the exchange, which takes time. Withdrawals are processed every 12 hours (at 6:30 PM and 6:30 AM).
Even if you've closed positions on the same day, withdrawals follow the rolling settlement cycle of Indian exchanges. This systematic process ensures a smooth and standardized settlement and withdrawal procedure.
